Dear Fifth Graders,
Here is your Third Assignment.
We are starting a new unit on Explorers in Social Studies. Here is my question for you:
What is a place ANYWHERE in the world that you would like to explore? You need to include WHY you would want to go there, WHAT would you look for or see, WHAT supplies you would bring with and WHO would join you on your adventure.
Read those expectations over again...... I am looking for COMPLETE answers.
Example:
If I could explore anywhere in the the world, I would explore Australia. I have always wanted to explore the world "down under"! I would explore the Great Barrier Reef and any zoo that had koala bears. I would love to meet the people of the country and visit many other tourist attractions. The main supply that I would bring with would be my camera and a computer, so I could document my trip carefully. I would bring my mom, she likes to travel and I would love to share this experience with her. Australia here I come!

If I could explore anywhere in the world I would go to Italy. I would go to Italy because I would like to see tourist attractions and see the Leaning Tower of Piza. I would bring food and water, a backpack, a laptop, and a camera. I would bring my sister Abby because she likes to travel and we have a strong relationship together.

I would bring food, water, computer,camera,and a couple of my stuffed animals. If I could explore anywhere in the world I would go to Paris, France. I would go to France because I would mostly like to go and see the Effile Tower! I also want to see all the tourist attractions. The supplies I would bring are my DS,some snacks for the plane trip, a camera, a laptop, and cloths for the days I'm there. explore the Bremuta Triangle. I havealways wanted to find the wreck of one and only flight 19.I would love to submerge under the surface of the water in a submarine,and see what I can find like those once vanished ships,planes,and maybe flight 19 or othermysteries of the deep.The suplies I would bring would be a high tech computer ,a flashlight,a camera,a 15 year supply of food and water and harpoon just in case. I would bringmy whole family because they make me feel safe!

I would like to explore New York. I would like to explore New York because there are a lot of sights to see. Another reason is because there would be tons of people you could be friends. Thats why I think it would be cool to explore New York.

If I could go anywhere in the world it would be the Swiss Alps. I would go there because I could be in the hills with the cows. I would look forward to camping out with the cows for a summer. I would bring my sister, Nora, along because she is strong and can speak French.

I would bring water, clothes, a camera, and a backpack with a first aid kit in case anything happened. One other thing I would bring would be a smile. I would like to travel to Greece because I am 1/2 Greek and I have never been there before. I would like to see all the sites I can. I would bring a camera, and my family. I would bring my mom because she is 100% Greek, my dad because he likes to drive around and see everything, and my brother, Nick, so I would have someone to play with. The end!!

If I could travel anywhere in the world, my first choice would be to go to the city of lights, Paris. Paris is so interesting to me because of the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and the Arc d'Triomphe. In Paris you can eat truly authentic French food! On the trip I would take along a digital camera, a laptop, a voice recorder, and cables to connect all the equipment to the laptop. I would bring my family, so that they could also see this awesome city. There is so much to do, see, and eat. That is why I would like to go to Paris!

If I could go any where in the world I would go to Hawaii. I would go to Hawaii because you can go fishing, scuba diving,bird watching,swimming, surfing,and hike up to waterfalls. I would bring water,food,swimming suit, binoculars,and notebook so I can journal.I would bring my mom,dad,and my two sisters because I love them a lot.

If I could go anywhere in the world I would pick New Zealand. I would bring my mom, dad, and my brother for company. I would go there to visit tourist sites and I would want to see the sea turtles native to their country. I am interested in the size of the country and the number of people living there. The supplies I would bring are food, water, clothes, and ME! These are some of the reasons I would travel to New Zealand!

If I could explore anywhere in the world, I would explore Indonesia because it isn't really like all the bigger countries that we know a lot about. I had always wanted to see komodo dragons up close in the wild (not too close), and learn more about the tsunami. I would take a digital camera, a satchel for carrying food and water, a wooden staff to fight if I have to, and a laptop for transporting pictures. I would bring my whole family so we can all have fun in Indonesia

in the world it would be Italy because there are ancient ruins in Rome. I would take my Grandma because she and I love to explore plus she spent 6 weeks there already and she knows her way around. I also would bring a camera with and a map so we know were we are going.
